This is definitely the most beautiful holiday house we have ever stayed in . The attention to detail is amazing and the comfort of the beds and lazy boy chairs, etc., is awesome. View is really jaw-dropping and sunrise especially – with mist over the valley – is something very special. The outdoor spa is bliss, and it is just you and the kangaroos, wallabies, and birds and butterflies. Secluded, romantic and peaceful. A place to relax and enjoy the simple pleasure of nature and the peace and quiet. We can't wait to return and we treasure the 6 days we spent this last week here. This is really a slice of heaven!

I was really, really glad that we found this lodge, as we were worried that we wouldn't find a big enough place to accommodate our group of 7. We were welcomed with a lovely letter and hamper of delicious local chocolates, honey and other goodies from the owners, which we appreciated very much. I couldn't believe how spacious and stylish the house was; it had everything we were looking for, i.e. jacuzzi, pool table, bbq, wildlife with a breathtaking view! Much better than we expected. The friendly kangaroos and wallabies topped off our wonderful experience; we enjoyed their company and even got a chance to take a few 'selfie' photos with them, ha ha. We all had an amazing time and are all looking forward to our next stay here!

The house was beautiful and equipped with everything you need. It was filled with so many surprises. The spa was relaxing and the view day or night was incredible. The kangaroo feedings are definitely a plus, as well as the cheeky kookaburra. We enjoyed the exceptional space and comfort this lodge had to offer. Service was amazing and the owners were pleasant and prompt with contact for all of our questions and concerns. Will definitely come back; it’s the perfect place to clear your head, relax the body and spend time with those you care about most. Plenty to see and do within the resort to keep everyone entertained. We had an amazing time!!!

We stayed here last year and loved every bit of our time there. The views are nothing short of stunning. The location is so peaceful and the animals are friendly. The house itself speaks of spoiling yourself, from the pool table to the outdoor spa. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone looking for a great break.

This place has some of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen! The Valley View accommodation is second to none. It has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re in need of some R and R! Thanks again for having us!!

Valley View lodge is magical! The views over the vast Hunter Valley are stunning – breathtaking – and peaceful. It’s a great place to catch up with friends for a weekend: spacious living area, outside spa, tastefully furnished, BBQ and cosy wood fire. Oh, and native wildlife abounds! Treat yourself!

Don't read this otherwise Valley View will be permanently booked! Unbelievable! When we drove up to the house and the first thing we see is the expansive and majestic view over the valley, we were truly gobsmacked. Never seen my kids lost for words before. The most beautiful, perfectly kept, clean and comfortable stay at Valley View. When they said they would take care of every little detail they meant it. We were [pleasantly greeted with a welcome basket full of biscuits, cheese, champagne, chocolate! It certainly set the scene for a most enjoyable weekend. Not a stain, not a scrap of dirt, fresh linen and towels, we absolutely loved it. The scented candles throughout the house is divine. You can't help but relax here. Hubby kept the fire stoked which was so cosy, the house has ducted heating/air so not a toe got cold, ever! For those that need more activity, the billiard table, the spa (s), the movies, the games, feeding the kangaroos and the birds, not to mention the bushwalking kept everyone well and truly entertained. Those beautiful kangaroos with all their joey's, so friendly! - camera clicked the entire time. Not to mention the sunrise over the valley - WOW! The beds are super comfy and the kitchen has all those things you forget to bring like condiments, cling wrap, serviettes, oil etc. Couches are super plush and plenty of room to spread out. LOVED the wrap around balcony and the BBQ and Pizza oven which we enjoyed immensely. WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!

Perfect getaway! Valley view is nothing like you’ve seen before! A perfect getaway for families and or friends. My family and I stayed for a few nights in April and we had the most amazing relaxing time together! The house is so clean, spacious and comfy! The little extra touches the owner provided didn’t go un noticed :) the kids loved playing pool and feeding the kangaroos and wallaby’s (which are right at your front door!) And us adults had a great time in the spa and looking out into the AMAZING Hunter Valley.. the view is absolutely breath taking! I highly recommend and we will definitely be back, thanks for having us Janine!

This house and location has EVERYTHING you have been looking for!! Have visited Valley View several times in the past each year for girls long weekends away. When my now husband and I decided to get married and have a low key wedding away with close friends I took him for a look at Valley View. He only needed to see outside - amazing valley views, wildlife everywhere, bush surrounding, serenity, not to mention the hot tub out the back - he was sold and this was where we chose to get married in the backyard. We will always keep coming back to Valley View - if you are looking for all of the above not to mention complimentary hamper with bubbles and cheese, eggs, milk, chocolates, stocked cupboard with condiments, pool table, limited reception for time out from every day life, great walks, super comfy beds, log fire, another spa inside - you have found your place!!
